Citizenship of Uzbekistan granted to a group of individuals in the Republic of Karakalpakstan

A group of individuals residing in the Republic of Karakalpakstan have been granted Uzbek citizenship according to the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Admission to the Citizenship of the Republic of Uzbekistan".
The official ceremony of presenting citizenship certificates took place at the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan with the participation of the Chairman of the Jokargy Kenges of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Alisher Atajanov, and the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Colonel Bakhtiyor Torebekov.
The newly admitted citizens have been granted equal legal status and full access to the rights guaranteed by the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, including social protection, education, public services, and other areas of civic life.
