Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan

A significant meeting was held between Colonel Ayubhon Rakhmatullayev, First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, and Oliver Stolpe, Head of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime Regional Office for Afghanistan, Central Asia, Iran, and Pakistan.

Discussions focused on issues such as the fight against illicit drug trafficking and firearms trafficking, counter-terrorism, human trafficking, and cybercrime. The parties exchanged views on ongoing efforts to enhance the material and technical capabilities of internal affairs agencies, as well as the professional training and qualifications of their personnel.

Following the meeting, both parties agreed to further expand their future cooperation.
