The resolution of this case was achieved through a collaborative effort between the National Central Bureaus of Interpol in Tashkent and Bangkok.
At the Islam Karimov International Airport in Tashkent, officials from the National Central Bureau detained Uzbek citizen H.K., who had been deported from the Kingdom of Thailand. H.K. has been accused of committing large-scale fraud and has been placed on the international wanted list at the request of the Uzbek law enforcement agencies. A criminal case was initiated against the accused, and he fled the country in an attempt to evade justice.
The suspect was apprehended in Thailand thanks to coordination with Thai law enforcement agencies through Interpol, and subsequently deported to Uzbekistan in order to facilitate further investigations.
