The issue of deportation of criminals wanted through Interpol channels has been resolved as a result of the coordination and close cooperation between the National Central Bureaus of Interpol in Tashkent and Ankara, as well as effective cooperation with the Embassy of the United States in Uzbekistan.
With the information support of the National Central Bureau of Interpol in Uzbekistan and close cooperation with the competent US authorities, as a result of joint efforts from the American and Turkish sides, citizens of Uzbekistan wanted by our law enforcement agencies for various crimes, including tax evasion, large-scale fraud and other crimes, have been deported.
As a result of negotiations, joint operational actions and information exchange with the American side, as well as the Interpol National Central Bureau in Ankara, the competent authorities of the United States and Turkey, a decision was made to deport the wanted individuals from the territory of the country.
Consequently, two criminals were deported from New York to the Islam Karimov International Airport in Tashkent, accompanied by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers, and two more were deported from Istanbul. Then they were handed over to the Interpol National Central Bureau and the territorial internal affairs bodies of the republic for further investigative action.
