Uzbekistan hosts the first ever U-19 Volleyball World Championship

It is with great pleasure that we announce that Uzbekistan is hosting the inaugural U-19 Volleyball World Championship. The prestigious event, featuring 288 young athletes from 24 countries, marks a significant milestone since it is the first time our country has hosted this prestigious competition.
The championship will be conducted with the utmost fairness and professionalism by an extensive referee team composed of 56 international referees, 50 local referees, and 80 technical specialists. The participating teams have been organized into four distinct groups to compete in the championship.
Today, July 24, a grand opening ceremony was held in the presence of athletes, organizers, and enthusiastic sports fans. Following the ceremonial proceedings, Uzbekistan and Turkey played their first match.
In an impressive display of skill and determination, the Uzbek youth national team defeated the Turkish national team by a score of 3-0. The exceptional outcome not only demonstrates the athletes' exceptional sportsmanship and physical prowess, but also reflects their unwavering commitment to achieve success.
Following the match, the Uzbek national team expressed their gratitude not only to their teammates, but also to the entire nation and their beloved homeland.
