Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature named after Alisher Navoi hosted a significant meeting. The university's rector and representatives of the Department of Penal Corrections of the Ministry of Internal Affairs attended the event.

This meeting was intended to formalize a memorandum of cooperation between the two organizations, including a service agreement to facilitate the training of personnel within the penitentiary system at the university.

Participants discussed the possibility of extending practical training opportunities to students pursuing studies in psychology, evaluating the prospects for advancement in the field of penitentiary psychology, and identifying potential collaborative initiatives.

This partnership is anticipated to enhance the scientific and practical foundations of penitentiary psychology in Uzbekistan and contribute to the development of qualified specialists in this essential field.
