Conference on Cybercrime Combating was held at the Advanced Training Institute of the MIA

On June 26, 2025, the Advanced Training Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a republican scientific and practical conference addressing the theme "Current Problems and Solutions for Combating Crimes Committed Using Information Technologies." This significant event was part of the "Information Technologies" training cycle of the Institute.
The conference brought together a distinguished assembly of participants, including respected figures such as heads, professors, and leading specialists from various prestigious institutions. A number of universities and companies were represented, including the Research Institute of Digital Forensics of the Law Enforcement Academy, the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek, the School 21 School of Digital Technologies, as well as CYBER BRO cybersecurity company, alongside sectoral service employees from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
During the proceedings, speakers covered a variety of relevant topics, including current cyber threats faced in the Republic of Uzbekistan, the various types of cybercrimes currently occurring, the digital security challenges confronting youth, the training needs of law enforcement agencies in relation to cybercrime prevention, insider threats, and contemporary approaches to identifying cybercriminals operating within the darknet.
In addition to these discussions, conference participants engaged in dialogues regarding the pressing issues highlighted. They shared constructive proposals aimed at addressing these challenges.
Concluding the conference, Colonel U.E. Rasulev, the First Deputy Head of the Advanced Training Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, had the honor as presenting certificates to the attendees, while also expressing his sincere gratitude for their participation and contributions.
