Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan

A distinguished delegation, headed by Deputy Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus, Major General of Justice Anatoly Vasiliev, recently visited the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It began with an official meeting between representatives of the Belarusian delegation and senior officials from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

During the discussion, both parties were focused on enhancing collaborative efforts between Uzbekistan and Belarus law enforcement agencies. Among the key topics discussed were the strengthening of relationships between investigation departments, the exchange of best practices in the fight against cybercrime, the enhancing of personnel training, and the expansion of collaboration in relevant areas.

Further, the delegation had the opportunity to learn more about the initiatives undertaken by the Department for Ensuring Safe Tourism, which is part of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Tashkent Region. The Belarusian guests received comprehensive information regarding the proactive measures implemented by the department to ensure the safety of both foreign and local tourists, as well as strategies aimed at preventing violations within the tourism sector.
