Successful detention and extradition of a female Human Trafficker

As a result of a notable collaboration between Interpol officers from Uzbekistan and Turkey, a female criminal who had been sought for her involvement in human trafficking was apprehended and subsequently extradited.
An Uzbek national who had been evading capture for a significant period while residing in Turkey was successfully extradited from Istanbul to Tashkent under the guidance of the Interpol National Central Bureau of Uzbekistan.
The detained individual had allegedly promised prospective victims profitable employment opportunities. However, she lured them into Turkey where she confiscated their passports and forced them into engaging in prostitution.
In conjunction with the National Central Bureaus of Interpol in Tashkent and Ankara, as well as meticulous intelligence gathering, the location of the fugitive was determined, resulting in her arrest.
Following a formal request from the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the appropriate Turkish authorities acted upon the extradition request, resulting in the apprehension and subsequent transfer of the accused back to Uzbekistan, where further investigations will be conducted under the supervision of the Interpol National Central Bureau.
This incident stands as a testament to the effective and timely collaboration between the National Central Bureaus of Interpol from both nations, demonstrating a commendable model of successful joint operations in combating transnational crime.
