A team of students from the Public Security University of the People's Republic of China has arrived in our country to participate in an academic exchange focused on public security experience sharing.
A formal meeting was held at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs prior to the start of the training program. The discussion was characterized by warmth and mutual respect between Academy Head Rustam Khatamov and Delegation Leader Zhang Zhou, who both stressed the importance of the relationship between our two countries.
During the meeting, it was stressed that Uzbekistan and China have deep-rooted historical ties. Recent years have witnessed a strengthening of these ties, which has resulted in expanded opportunities for cooperation.
"In our mutual relations, priority is given to issues of global security, regional stability, and a united front against contemporary threats and challenges," stated R. Khatamov, the head of the academy. "Currently, we have established multifaceted cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Public Security of China. The progressive development of relations in education is of utmost importance to studying advanced methodologies and training highly qualified personnel within our systems."
Zhang Zhou, Head of the International Relations Department of the Public Security University, noted, "The people of our nations have always cherished close neighborly and friendly relations. We find ourselves at a pivotal stage where our bilateral relations have ascended to a qualitatively higher level. Although this marks my first visit to Uzbekistan, I have been following the commendable transformations taking place in your country. I am confident that our collaborative efforts towards our shared objectives will continue to flourish."
Furthermore, the meeting reaffirmed that the initiatives pursued under the bilateral cooperation memorandum not only facilitate the exchange of experience but also facilitate the exploration of the history and cultures of our two countries.
Additionally, the visiting delegation was given an overview of the academy's operational framework on the same day. They were impressed by the innovative methodologies adopted in the educational process. They also appreciated the modern facilities available to cadets, and the institution’s storied history, potential, and future prospects.
It is important to highlight that throughout the forthcoming two-week training program, a series of interactive classes and cultural educational events will be organized for Chinese students. Additionally, the delegation will have the opportunity to explore advanced practices within the field of internal affairs.
Our commitment to fostering international cooperation and improving the quality of public security education is evidenced by this initiative.
