The National Central Bureau of the Republic of Uzbekistan supervised the transport from Muscat to Tashkent of two international wanted women.
Through extensive investigative efforts and effective collaboration with international partners, the locations of the two women, previously sought by law enforcement in the Sultanate of Oman, were successfully identified, leading to their apprehension. On May 23 of this year, the National Central Bureau of Uzbekistan completed the extradition process.
To facilitate the extradition of these individuals engaged in fraudulent activities, a monitoring team traveled to Muscat, Oman. During discussions with representatives from the National Central Bureau of Interpol Muscat, it was revealed that another female suspect suspected of human trafficking, also wanted by Uzbekistan's law enforcement, had been arrested. During this meeting, an agreement was reached to expedite the extradition process.
This successful operation underscores the effectiveness of international cooperation and bilateral relations, resulting in the transfer of the fugitives to the National Central Bureau of Interpol in Uzbekistan for prosecution and justice.
