Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Central Office attended the event that Colonel Hamza Makhsumov, head of the Spiritual and Educational Affairs Service, opened. He said that in recent years, along with all other fields, work has consistently been carried out to increase the prestige of the Uzbek language in the system of internal affairs bodies. The leadership of the Ministry was responsible for monitoring compliance and ensuring their execution, and a number of legal documents were adopted.
Later, Azizjon Eminov, director of the Fund for the Development of the Uzbek Language under the Cabinet of Ministers, and Inomjon Azimov, director of the Center for Teaching and Improving the Basics of Working in the State Language, candidate of philological sciences, associate professor, said that raising the reputation of our mother tongue is one of the most significant issues facing our country today. In this regard, he explained that sufficient efforts are being made.
In their speech, they mentioned that the Uzbek language is currently being studied in many countries of the world and that work is being done to increase the number of speakers.
