The acquaintance of the guests with the activities of the Academy began at the information resource centre. The visitors were impressed by the special appearance, innovative possibilities, and wealth of resources of the enlightenment place, especially the complexes built in honour of our ancestors. Semih Okyar highly valued that we were teaching the young generation the rich heritage of our ancestors who contributed greatly to the development of world civilization.

Later, Turkish experts visited modern infrastructure facilities. The guests were informed about advanced approaches introduced at the undergraduate and graduate levels, the scientific potential of the institution, and the extensive activities being conducted to study the experience of foreign countries.

During the visit, the sides held a meeting dedicated to actively developing bilateral cooperation. While welcoming the guests, the head of the academy, Rustam Khatamov, emphasized that the relations between Uzbekistan and Turkey are progressing in all directions.

He said that we are witnessing the beginning of a new era in the relations between our Turkic-speaking peoples. A friendly attitude between the leaders of the two countries, strong will, and wise, farsighted policy contributed to this success.

During his speech, Semih Okyar expressed his deep appreciation for the centuries-old ties between our peoples.

It is always a pleasure to see Uzbekistan's progress. Our meeting is held in a sincere spirit, and it will pave the way for implementing future priorities. The cooperation we have today makes us all happy. I intend to emphasize that we are always open to dialogue and collaboration with our brotherly friends, - Semih Okyar added.

In his turn, Murat Karausta noted that he is pleased with the active development of cooperation between similar higher education institutions of the two countries.

The main focus of the meeting was on enriching cooperation in the field of education with new content, expanding the exchange of experience in the areas of interest, using all opportunities in this regard, implementing promising programs for the youth of the two countries, and consistently implementing the activities stipulated in the cooperation agreements. After actively exchanging views, the parties expressed confidence in taking relations to a new level.
