Korean National Police University and the Academy of the MIA have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation

The heads of educational institutions Rustam Khatamov and Oh Moon-Kyo held a conversation prior to the online event. The friendly relations between Uzbekistan and South Korea were recognized during the meeting, which took place with sincerity.
As it was emphasized, there are many ties connecting the two countries. The Uzbek and Korean cultures are closely related in terms of their mentality, values, and culture. Mutual relations are built on the principles of high trust and respect. Both Uzbekistan and South Korea have chosen a modern development path. In terms of global and regional issues, the parties have similar approaches.
Over the last few years, bilateral relations have entered a new era and have been elevated to the level of a special strategic partnership.
The meeting also recognized cooperation in the field of education, particularly in the training of highly qualified personnel for law enforcement agencies. The joint activities are of great significance in terms of exchanging experience, analyzing advanced achievements, and improving personnel potential.
"The Korean National Police University is one of the leading higher educational institutions in the world. Education at the institution has been adapted to modern concepts. Expanding cooperation with the university serves both our interests. In the future, we aim to implement projects aimed at developing education," said the head of the academy.
Oh Moon-Kyo then emphasized his appreciation of bilateral relations, the achievement of a significant step to enrich cooperation in terms of quality and content, and most importantly, this resulted from determined efforts.
Following the meeting, the heads of educational institutions signed a memorandum of cooperation.
