Our country is implementing reforms aimed at transforming mahallas into prosperous and safe areas, communicating effectively with the population, and addressing their problems in a targeted way. The mahallas are the starting point for the country's peace.
MIA Academy professors and teachers visited Kashkadarya region and discussed criminogenic issues with mahalla activists regarding current issues related to the region's criminogenic environment.
In most mahallas, early crime prevention is accomplished through joint preventive measures. However, in some areas, preventable crimes have increased.
A working group of representatives analyzed the factors affecting the crime situation in "red" mahallas.
The officials were recommended to organize crime prevention using new approaches, promote the positive experiences of green areas, find solutions to every problem, and, in this respect, make extensive use of the "seven activists of mahalla" system.
Studying the regions focused on ensuring employment for the population, especially young people and women, creating additional jobs, enhancing legal advocacy, and eliminating crime-enabling conditions. Proposals and recommendations were developed for stabilizing the criminal situation in mahallas and preventing crimes from the beginning.
Furthermore, deputy heads of regional internal affairs bodies attended training sessions and implemented large-scale reforms, and actual requirements were conveyed to leaders.
