On January 10, operatives of the Crime Detection Service of the Samarkand Regional Internal Affairs Department conducted an operational search in Bulungur district.
According to information received, a person born in 1981 in Bulungur district of the Samarkand region planned to sell 1 kg of "marijuana" to a special buyer for 25,000,000 UZS.
A person connected with the special buyer reported that he had prepared a cargo of five kilograms. During an operational process in the territory of "Sohibkor'' mahalla, the Crime Detection Service of the DIA of Samarkand region, a rapid deployment force of the DIA of the region, and the Regional Customs Service, a person selling approximately 5 kg of "marijuana" for 10,000 US dollars was detained with evidence.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 273, Part 5 of the Criminal Code, and an investigation has been undertaken.
