Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan

Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Lieutenant General Aziz Tashpulatov, met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to Uzbekistan, Hasan Hamza Asad Muhammad Hashim.

At the beginning of the meeting, the parties noted that friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Qatar, built on mutual respect and trust, are developing steadily. The two parties discussed the current state of cooperation between the internal affairs bodies of their respective countries and prospects for its continued development.

During the meeting, considerable attention was paid to exchanging experiences and expanding cooperation in the prevention and combating of crime, terrorism and extremism, transnational organized crime, drug trafficking, and cybercrime.

Additionally, the importance of international cooperation was stressed in addressing modern threats and challenges.

A discussion was held between the two parties regarding the practical aspects of their cooperation, the arrangement of experience exchanges between specialists, and the strengthening of joint efforts in the areas discussed.
