First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Head of the Public Security Department, Colonel Timur Ismailov, paid a working visit to Namangan region.

During the visit, he reviewed the efforts made to stabilize the criminogenic situation, prevent crime and violation in the "Obihayot" mahalla in Namangan city, "Kushminor" mahalla in Pop district, "Kamarsada" mahalla in Chust district and "Tukuvchi" mahalla in Davlatabad district.

The activities of the “mahalla seven,” the organization of preventive measures, the identification and resolution of existing problems, and cooperation between internal affairs bodies and partner organizations were also reviewed.

Following the visits, a meeting was held with the participation of the leadership and staff of the Namangan Regional Department of Internal Affairs to discuss further improvements to the criminogenic situation in the region as well as ways to increase crime and offence prevention effectiveness.

The meeting identified priority tasks for addressing the shortcomings, strengthening prevention efforts, and ensuring a safe and peaceful environment in the region.
