The Aydar-Arnasay lake system in Jizzakh region was raided jointly to prevent illegal hunting and fishing.
Jizzakh Regional Department of Internal Affairs, Department for Protection of Aydar-Arnasay Lake System, Department of Protection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Department of National Guard, and Service of Border Guard were involved in the operation.
During the raid, 1,370 meters of prohibited fishing nets were destroyed. Six boats, four boat motors, and one vehicle were placed in the impoundment area. Seven administrative reports were prepared, and one case is under investigation.
Natural resources are being protected and violations are being prevented.
