“The Three Generations” conference was held in Andijan

A “Three Generations” conference was held in Andijan as part of the “Week of the Elderly”. The event was attended by officials of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, representatives of the Council of Veterans, veterans of regional internal affairs bodies, and young employees.
The event focused on honoring experienced officers and sharing their professional and life experiences with the next generation of officers.
At the closing ceremony, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Colonel Diyorbek Sattarov spoke about the reforms being implemented under the leadership of the Head of State based on the principle “For the sake of human dignity". He also mentioned the attention paid to the internal affairs bodies and the care of veterans. It was emphasized that the experience and personal example of veterans play a significant role in educating young employees in the spirit of loyalty to the Motherland and professional responsibility.
The conference provided an opportunity for veterans and young employees to exchange views on preventing crime and offenses in mahallas, organizing dialogue with the population, and carrying out preventive activities. Veterans shared their service memories and advice on the status of sector personnel.
Retired Major General Tohir Mullajonov met with students of the Andijan Academic Lyceum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and employees of the Andijan City Internal Affairs Department. He spoke about loyalty to the Motherland, service discipline, and professional responsibility. Retired Colonel Tursinbek Rakhmonov, aged 93, who served in internal affairs bodies for 31 years, also actively participated in the event.
An intellectual “Zakovat” competition was held between veterans and young officers. The team of the Andijan Regional Internal Affairs Department took first place, the Navoi Regional Internal Affairs Department team took second place, and the Sirdarya Regional team took third place.
At the Republican stage of the “Most Active Honorary Officer of the Year” competition, Sodikjon Nishanov took first place, Abduvahobjon Khalikov second place, and Zakir Khudaymurodov third place. The first-place winner received a free sanatorium voucher for two people, while the second- and third-place winners were awarded cash prizes equivalent to twelve and eighteen times the basic calculation amount, respectively.
Deputy Minister Diyorbek Sattarov presented the awards to veterans and the competition winners. He expressed gratitude for their many years of service and contribution to educating the younger generation. The winners of the “Zakovat” competition were also presented with diplomas and gifts.
The conference served to maintain the traditions of teacher-student relationships, to apply the experience of veterans in service activities, and to further strengthen cooperation between generations.
