A discussion of issues related to youth crime prevention and strengthening targeted prevention was held

A videoconference meeting was held at the Namangan Regional Administration to discuss early prevention of crime and offenses among young people.
The meeting was attended by Regional Governor Shavkatjon Abdurazzakov, heads of law enforcement agencies, representatives of relevant organizations, and officials and employees responsible for working with youth.
The meeting reviewed the work being undertaken in the regions to work with young people, protect them from negative influences, and organize their free time effectively. An emphasis was placed on analyzing the problems of young people under preventive supervision, providing them with targeted assistance based on their needs, and enhancing the effectiveness of preventive measures.
It was also discussed what causes and conditions contribute to crimes and offenses committed by young people, as well as measures for their early identification and elimination. In this regard, strengthening cooperation among internal affairs bodies, mahallas, educational institutions and families was identified as a priority.
Taking into account the problems identified in each area, appropriate instructions have been provided to improve the effectiveness of individual work with young people, to strengthen the personal responsibility of those responsible, and to ensure the timely and high-quality implementation of the assigned measures.
