An analysis of the work to prevent road accidents in the Navoi region was conducted

The work being undertaken by the Road Traffic Safety Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Navoi Regional Internal Affairs Department to prevent road accidents, improve road infrastructure, and ensure traffic safety in the region was reviewed.
At the meeting, shortcomings in ensuring road safety were critically analyzed, and measures to prevent traffic accidents were identified.
In addition, issues related to the efficient use of forces and resources, the enhancement of road infrastructure, environmental stickers, passenger transportation, mopeds and scooters, and diagnostic center activities were discussed.
The operation of a new device installed at kilometers 12 and 13 of the D-191 highway in Navbahor district to detect traffic violations was also reviewed.
By detecting violations such as overtaking, entering the oncoming lane, and speeding, the device will help prevent these accidents.
Additionally, a monitor installed near the "Guli" shopping center on the M-37 highway in Karmana district was checked to raise awareness among drivers.
The participants also reviewed the ongoing road repair, asphalt paving, and landscaping work on Navoi Street in Navoi city.
