Press, often referred to as a mirror of life, is an important tool in the process of building a democratic society. Therefore, the "Postda" newspaper plays a significant role in providing an objective view of the activities of law enforcement agencies, strengthening their reputation among the public, and increasing citizens' trust in them.

A variety of aspects of officers' lives are featured in the newspaper, including their dedicated service in ensuring peace and public order, their achievements, joys, and concerns, as well as the creative works of officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

A spiritual and educational event was held at the Academic Lyceum No. 2 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in honor of the activities of "Postda". During the event, the history of the publication and its important role in the life of internal affairs bodies were discussed.

The director of the lyceum, Colonel Rajabboy Otajonov, opened the event by stating that, for nearly a century, "Postda" has consistently informed its readers about reforms in the system and encouraged them to remain vigilant against alien ideas and social problems, based on nearly a century of experience and a rich history. Additionally, he stressed the publication's popularity among a broad audience.

Lieutenant Colonel Azizjon Fayziev, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Joint Editorial Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, presented about the newspaper’s history. Retired Colonel Zikrilla Nematov, an employee of the Ministry’s Department of Spiritual-Enlightenment Affairs and Human Resources, recited poems. Retired Lieutenant Colonel Shuhrat Ruziev, a veteran of internal affairs bodies, shared thoughts aimed at encouraging young people to reflect on important life issues.

“I am very interested in reading books, newspapers and magazines,” said Odina Usmonova, a second-year student at the Lyceum. “Today’s spiritual and educational event was very meaningful and memorable. In particular, we learned a lot about the rich history of our beloved newspaper, Postda.”

Following the event, the Joint Editorial Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs presented literary collections to the attendees. Musical performances by members of the academic lyceum’s amateur arts group added to the atmosphere of the event.
