Enhancement of professional skills in investigating cybercrime and virtual currency crimes

From September 14 to 18, 2026, a representative of the Department for Combating Cybercrime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs participated in the training course “Cyber Dark Web and Virtual Currency Investigations” at the International Law Enforcement Academy in Budapest, Hungary.
The training covered the principles and basic technologies of the Dark Web, methods for conducting anonymous and secure investigations in cyberspace, and modern approaches to identifying, documenting, and preserving digital evidence.
Furthermore, the course included theoretical and practical sessions on detecting and investigating crimes involving cryptocurrencies and virtual assets, monitoring cryptocurrency transactions, and analyzing their movement.
By participating in this training, law enforcement officers were able to further enhance their knowledge and practical skills in combating cybercrime, conducting investigations on the Dark Web, and detecting cryptocurrency-related crimes.
