Officers of the MIA participated in an International Cybersecurity seminar in China

From September 2 to 22, 2026, officers of the Cybercrime Combating Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan participated in an international cybersecurity seminar held in the People’s Republic of China for representatives of Central Asian countries.
The seminar provided an overview of topics related to forensic analysis of electronic data, crime scene investigation involving digital evidence, forensic examination of mobile devices, as well as modern methods of ensuring database security.
Additionally, participants discussed physical security, identifying potential external threats, and implementing protective measures in the workplace.
A particular focus was placed on the use of artificial intelligence and large language models. These sessions covered the use of large multimodal language models in the analysis of visual data, practical work with the DeepSeek platform, and the use of artificial intelligence in the analysis of network packets.
Furthermore, the course provided participants with practical knowledge of the fundamentals of virtual currencies and the detection of related crimes, as well as the analysis of public opinion in the online environment, the study of information processes, and the safe use of external ports and devices.
During the seminar, electronic firing ranges were used to simulate shooting exercises. Additionally, participants discussed the development of international cooperation among law enforcement agencies in the modern era.
During the visit, specialists in cybersecurity, digital forensics, and the use of artificial intelligence were able to improve their professional knowledge and practical skills.
