Today, the Head of the Department of Protection reviewed the security situation in Shaykhantahur and Chilanzar districts of the capital. Particular attention was paid to the wider introduction of modern mechanisms for ensuring public safety, further development of the “digital safe environment” system, improving the effectiveness of security at educational institutions, and introducing modern and innovative formats for providing protection services to citizens.
As part of the review, special attention was given to further strengthening security in Suzuk Ota mahalla of Shaykhantahur district. In particular, the existing security arrangements around the Suzuk Ota mausoleum, mosque and park, which are of historical and spiritual significance, were critically assessed. Issues related to creating safe conditions for residents and visitors, equipping the area with modern technical security systems, making effective use of video surveillance, identifying potential threats at an early stage and ensuring a rapid response were also examined.
Responsible officials were instructed to further improve the area’s security infrastructure within a unified system, gradually introduce modern digital technologies and technical security equipment, and increase the effectiveness of preventive and rapid-response measures in crowded public areas.
In addition, plans to establish new-format **Security Office** service centers in the Samarkand Darvoza area and at the intersection of Sebzar and Abdulla Qodiriy streets were reviewed. These offices are intended to make protection services more accessible to residents and businesses.
Unlike traditional service points, the new offices are expected to provide information on all types of protection services in a modern format, demonstrate the capabilities of technical security equipment, and offer tailored security solutions based on the specific characteristics of a residential or commercial property.
This initiative is aimed at bringing protection services closer to the public, simplifying the process from initial inquiry to service registration, and developing a modern service culture in the security sector.
The review also continued in Chilanzar district. In particular, at 202nd school, the head of the Department examined the operation of the security service organized under the new procedure, the access control and management systems at the educational institution, as well as the technical equipment used to ensure safety.
It was emphasized that security at educational institutions should not be limited solely to the establishment of a guard post. Instead, it should be organized as a comprehensive and integrated protection system covering the school grounds, entrance areas, the educational process and mechanisms for rapid response to emergencies.
In this context, particular attention was paid to the integrated operation of access control systems, video surveillance, rapid notification tools and security patrol units.
The activities of a specialized classroom established at the school on the initiative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were also reviewed. The classroom is designed to teach students how to operate unmanned aerial vehicles and use modern technologies.
It was noted that this initiative is important not only for increasing young people’s interest in modern technologies and developing their practical digital skills, but also for preparing qualified specialists capable of applying intelligent and technological solutions in the security sector in the future.
Following the review, responsible officials were given relevant instructions to conduct an in-depth assessment of the capabilities of each district and facility, expand the use of modern, targeted and technology-based approaches to ensuring security, organize protection services in a more convenient and accessible format for the public, and accelerate the practical implementation of new projects.
Today, ensuring security involves not only responding to committed or potential offences, but above all identifying and preventing risks in advance through modern technologies, digital monitoring, rapid management and preventive mechanisms.
The measures being implemented across the capital are aimed at ensuring public peace and security, creating a reliable and safe environment in educational institutions, and bringing the protection sector to a new level through modern technologies and high-quality services.
