Cyril Gou, representative of the French Ministry of the Interior, begins his work in Tashkent

On September 17, a meeting was held between the leadership of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Cyril Gou, a representative of the French Ministry of the Interior, on the occasion of the official start of his duties in Tashkent.
During the meeting, Cyril Gou stated that he had been appointed by the French Ministry of the Interior to coordinate cooperation with law enforcement agencies of Central Asian countries. As he noted, carrying out his activities from Tashkent will contribute to the further development of law enforcement cooperation between Uzbekistan and France.
A major focus of the meeting was to strengthen cooperation between the interior ministries of Uzbekistan and France. Particularly, the parties discussed professional development of personnel, the exchange of experience, and the organization of high-level meetings.
Both parties agreed to intensify their cooperation and strengthen existing ties.
Following the meeting, the leadership of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan wished Cyril Gou success in his new position.
