Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan

A delegation of representatives of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Police Force of the People’s Republic of China visited the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

During the first half of the day, the guests were introduced to the Academy's activities. On a tour of the university's modern facilities, they learned about the advanced approaches being used to effectively organize the education process, strengthen the connection between theory and practice, and systematically apply international experiences.

The delegation highly appreciated the modern opportunities created at the Academy, as well as the efforts being carried out in the areas of digitalization of education, dual education, fostering cadets and students in the spirit of patriotism, and training highly qualified specialists and management personnel for the internal affairs system.

During the second half of the day, the delegation led by Leung-yuk Cheung met with Rustam Khatamov, the head of the Academy.

During the dialogue, the steadily improving relations between Uzbekistan and China were highlighted.

As part of the discussion, the parties exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest, including developing cooperation in education, establishing training programs in relevant areas, and involving qualified individuals in the training process.
