Thousands of young men and women stood in formation today, wearing cadet epaulettes and holding the text of the oath with a sense of pride as they prepared to embark on the honorable mission of serving the Motherland. Cadets of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Academy took their solemn oath after completing their training at the field practice grounds.

United by a common goal and dressed in identical uniforms, the cadets moved in unison, while the determination in their eyes gave the parade ground a special atmosphere of dignity.

Minister of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant General Aziz Tashpulatov, opened the solemn oath-taking ceremony for first-year cadets.

According to the Head of State, the trust placed in these young men and women, who are expected to contribute to the Third Renaissance, will undoubtedly bear fruit in the coming years. As part of their primary duties, they are expected to make effective use of the opportunities provided for continuous learning and self-improvement, and to master the areas of law enforcement and public safety completely.

The admission quota for the Academy's full-time bachelor's degree program has increased from 700 to 900 since the 2024/2025 academic year and has reached 1,100 this year. Currently, new innovative buildings and facilities are being constructed and equipped with modern technology in order to improve the quality of personnel training at the Academy and create a digital educational environment.

A Council of Gifted Cadets has been established to ensure the consistent implementation of state youth policy. In addition to the "Jaloliddin Manguberdi" scholarship, the "Academy Honors Student" and "Gifted Cadet" badges, as well as the "Cho'lpon" badge and scholarship, have also been introduced for knowledgeable, proactive, and dedicated cadets.

According to Presidential Resolution No. 303 dated August 26 this year, "On Measures to Transform the System of Training Professional Personnel for Internal Affairs Bodies," the educational process at the Academy will now be based on a credit-module system.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs will assign cadets to sectoral and regional units in their first year of education. Before completing their studies, final-year cadets will be awarded the special rank of "Senior Sergeant".

Additionally, a unified digital portfolio will be developed to collect real-time performance metrics, assess career prospects, and make career-related recommendations.

This new resolution establishes a unified, continuous, and modern system for training professional personnel for internal affairs bodies and raises the quality and effectiveness of education.

Afterwards, the Minister of Internal Affairs ordered the cadets to take the oath, marking the start of the Academy's traditional ceremonial march.

Cadets solemnly swore their loyalty to the Ministry, distinguished guests, personnel, and their parents as they held the oath in their hands.

Over the years, the words of the oath have remained integral to the service, symbolizing that these young recruits are the future of internal affairs.

A group of senior cadets was also presented with scholarship certificates during the ceremony. Second-year cadets Rukhshona Murodilaeva and Akobir Fayzulloev, as well as third-year cadets Sevinch Ochilova and Elbek Azimov, were awarded honorary certificates as recipients of the “Minister of Internal Affairs Scholarship.”

A certificate of honor for the "Jaloliddin Manguberdi Scholarship of the Ministry of Internal Affairs" was presented to second-year cadet Abubakir Isokhonov and third-year cadet Diyorbek Kamoldinov. A third-year cadet, Sarvinoz Umarova, has been awarded the "Supreme Commander-in-Chief" State Scholarship.

Speakers at the event highlighted the significance of this day for the future careers of the cadets, spoke about the unique training system established at the Academy in recent years to prepare personnel for the internal affairs bodies of New Uzbekistan, and discussed the high hopes parents place in their children, once again expressing confidence in the younger generation.

Three years of challenging study lie ahead for the cadets - years that will shape and strengthen them both professionally and personally. Parents today embrace their children with tears of joy, while younger siblings watch in admiration, taking pride in their accomplishments and their commitment to ensuring peace and security for the Motherland.
