Effectiveness of night duty in Tashkent districts was reviewed

Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs for Compliance and Internal Control against Corruption, Colonel Rustam Mirzaev, together with officials of the Main Department of Internal Security of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, reviewed the service activities of employees engaged in night duty in the Chilanzar, Mirzo Ulugbek, and Yakkasaray districts of Tashkent.
A particular focus of the review was how effectively employees working at patrol posts and maintaining public order perform their assigned duties, as well as their compliance with service discipline and legal requirements.
In addition, the measures taken to ensure the safety of citizens at night, to prevent violations in public places, to respond promptly to suspicious situations, and to maintain the vigilance and accountability of officers on duty were reviewed.
Recommendations and instructions were provided regarding the readiness of employees to serve, the provision of uniforms and necessary equipment, the proper performance of assigned duties, and the culture of communication with citizens.
Following the review, the responsible officials were assigned tasks to address the identified shortcomings, further enhance the effectiveness of the night duty rotation, and improve the service discipline and internal control system.
Additionally, employee immunity was strengthened, strict adherence to legality and integrity was stressed, and their responsibility for maintaining public order and maintaining security was increased.
