First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan and Head of the Department of Public Security, Colonel Timur Ismailov, visited the Kashkadarya region during his visit. He reviewed the activities of the Karshi City Department of Internal Affairs and the Koson District Department of Internal Affairs, as well as the construction work being undertaken at newly established internal affairs departments.

Additionally, he met with prevention inspectors and members of the "mahalla seven" in Mash'al people's council in Koson district, Qovchin people's council in Karshi district, and Chulkuvar people's council in Karshi city, where the criminogenic situation remains challenging. In addition to identifying priority tasks, practical recommendations and instructions were provided.

During the visit, the level of material and technical support provided by the internal affairs departments, as well as the conditions created for professional, combat, and physical training of personnel, were assessed.

A particular focus was placed on improving the organization of service activities, increasing the effectiveness of prevention work, and strengthening the educational and material base of the organization.
