Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan

Dedicated employees stood in formation on the large square of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in celebration of the Motherland, the people, and the peace of the country. A solemn atmosphere, military discipline, and commitment to duty demonstrated that the 35th anniversary of our country's independence is not only a national holiday, but also an opportunity to reaffirm an awareness of our responsibility to the Motherland.

The celebrations of Independence Day are being held under the noble motto, “One nation, one people, one future!” This idea resonates deeply with every fellow citizen. The holiday is especially meaningful for employees of internal affairs bodies, who have been entrusted with the honorable and responsible responsibility of maintaining peace and security. Independence of the Motherland, peace among the people, and tranquility throughout the country are interconnected.

The solemn ceremony was opened by the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Lieutenant General Aziz Tashpulatov. Those gathered proudly and solemnly performed the National Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The congratulatory message of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to the people of Uzbekistan was then read out. It highlighted the large-scale reforms being implemented to build a New Uzbekistan, ensure the comprehensive development of the country, uphold human dignity, and improve the well-being of the people, as well as the significant achievements made in these areas.

During the ceremony, tributes were paid to employees who sacrificed their lives for the peace and security of the country during the 35 years of independence and who died bravely in the line of duty. The bright memory of their lives was honored.

The peaceful lives and tranquil days we enjoy today are built on the courage, resilience, and selfless service to the Motherland of such dedicated people. Their heroism serves as inspiration for future generations and a lasting lesson in responsibility for their colleagues.

A group of employees who have faithfully served the people, performed their duties responsibly, and set a good example for their colleagues were presented with state awards by order of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

An award is more than just a recognition of service. It symbolizes the trust of the Motherland, the appreciation of the people, and the high honor given to those who serve. Hence, every order and medal is not only a source of pride, but also a reminder of greater responsibilities and an encouragement to continue moving forward.

Additionally, departmental badges of the Ministry, early special ranks, and commemorative badges celebrating the 35th anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence were presented.

In addition to honoring dedication and commitment to service, such recognition also encourages young employees to take their profession even more seriously and to live up to the trust placed in them by the nation and the people.

A video presentation was presented in the second part of the event to illustrate the development of the internal affairs system over the past 35 years. It highlighted the difficult circumstances faced during the early years of independence, the measures taken to ensure peace and stability in the country, the gradual improvement of the system, and significant events in the activities of sectoral services and territorial departments.

A festive concert program followed the solemn event. It featured songs dedicated to the Motherland, peace and tranquility, and the honorable path of service. A festive atmosphere was created by the captivating performances of singers from the Palace of Culture of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and honored artists as part of the celebrations of Independence Day.

We live in a country that is filled with holidays, good days, and joyous moments. The peace-loving people of our country have always placed great emphasis on tranquility. Today’s prosperous life, the peaceful laughter of our children, and the confidence of our fellow citizens in the future all demonstrate the immense blessing of peace.

The preservation of this blessing is a shared responsibility among all of us. However, its value is most profoundly felt by those who are dedicated to maintaining public order and safeguarding the borders of the Motherland. Every day, when they wear their uniforms, they set themselves one great goal: to serve the peace of the people and the well-being of the Motherland.
