Uzbek MMA fighters placed among the top six at the World Championships

On August 16 to 23, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, hosted the World Championships in mixed martial arts among juniors, teenagers, and youth.
Around 1,500 athletes from 55 countries competed for championship titles.
The Uzbekistan national team was represented by 61 athletes, who won a total of 15 medals, including 3 gold, 4 silver, and 8 bronze.
These results placed the Uzbekistan national team in sixth place in the overall medal standings.
Upon their return from the World Championships, the athletes were welcomed at Tashkent International Airport by the Association leadership and their family members.
