Academy leadership reviewed public safety and early crime prevention efforts in Almazar district

The leadership of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reviewed the work being done in Almazar district of the capital to ensure public safety and prevent crime at an early stage.
A meeting was held at the Department for Coordination of the Activities of Internal Affairs Bodies with responsible leaders and Academy representatives. During the meeting, factors negatively affecting the criminal situation and crime indicators in the areas were analyzed. Priority tasks were identified to create a safe environment for the population.
Following the meeting, the Academy head inspected the areas identified as crime-prone locations on Forobiy and Beruniy streets. During meetings with residents, it was noted that comprehensive measures are being implemented across the capital to prevent crime at an early stage. These measures address problems in mahallas in a targeted way. It was also emphasized that ensuring peace and order requires the active contribution of each member of society.
Responsible officials were instructed to deploy additional forces and resources to areas with high rates of hooliganism, install panic buttons and modern surveillance cameras, ensure timely responses to appeals received through the “102” emergency number, strengthen work with unorganized youth, and take measures to prevent offenses at an early stage.
During the inspections, existing problems at each location were discussed on site, and appropriate measures were identified to address them.
The head of the Academy emphasized that creating a truly safe environment requires mahallas to be free from crime and allowing people to move about freely and confidently at any time of day.
