Efforts are being made to ensure that events marking the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan are conducted at high levels, peacefully, and in an orderly manner.
In this regard, the activities of the "Independence Headquarters" established at the Surkhandarya Regional Department of Internal Affairs were reviewed with the participation of the head of the regional Department of Internal Affairs and officials of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The review evaluated the work undertaken by headquarters personnel to ensure public safety, maintain peace and tranquility, and enhance security measures at venues hosting festive events.
Responsible officials were instructed to promptly eliminate identified shortcomings and ensure that tasks were carried out on time and to a high standard.
The common goal is to ensure that Independence Day, one of the country's most significant holidays, is celebrated in a festive and peaceful manner.
