Cooperation issues were discussed during the official visit of the Azerbaijani Ambassador to the Ministry of Internal Affairs

Today, August 20, a meeting was held between Lieutenant General Aziz Tashpulatov, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Rashad Aynaddin oglu Mammadov, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Uzbekistan.
The friendly relations, mutual trust, and strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan were noted during the meeting.
The parties discussed the current state and future prospects of cooperation between the internal affairs bodies of the two countries. Special attention was paid to the exchange of experiences in combating crime, terrorism, and extremism, as well as transnational organized crime, drug trafficking, and cybercrime.
Both parties expressed an interest in further strengthening cooperation in ensuring law and order and public safety in both countries, maintaining mutually beneficial relations, and identifying areas of future cooperation that could be mutually beneficial.
