A two-stage training course was organized at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for psychologists of the Ministry and partner law enforcement agencies.
The training aimed to improve employees' knowledge and practical skills in conducting special psychophysiological examinations using polygraph equipment and introducing advanced testing techniques.
During the training, participants studied issues related to assessing risk factors associated with the personal and professional characteristics of candidates for employment, identifying susceptibility to corruption and other negative practices when appointing employees to positions, strengthening the psychological environment within teams, maintaining the mental and emotional well-being of personnel, and analyzing individual psychological characteristics, motivation, and behavior in criminal proceedings.
The trainees were trained in the planning of polygraph examinations, conducting pre-examination interviews, developing examination questions, operating polygraph equipment, analyzing psychophysiological reactions, and drawing conclusions based on the results of the examination during practical sessions.
The course concluded with participants independently conducting special psychophysiological examinations using oral methods and a polygraph. Those who successfully completed the assessments were awarded certificates.
