A practical seminar on "Preventing cybercrimes and bank card-related fraud" was held at the Tashkent City Criminal Court with the participation of officials from the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Department for Combating Cybercrime.
The seminar was attended by judges of the Tashkent City Criminal Court and district courts, court staff, and specialists.
The seminar focused on increasing the knowledge of the participants on cyber hygiene and information security.
A discussion was held about the latest online fraud schemes, phishing, unlawful withdrawals of funds from bank accounts, and the theft of personal information. Information security and digital hygiene recommendations were also provided to participants.
At the end of the seminar, the Department's management and specialists answered participants’ questions and discussed measures to further strengthen cooperation in combating cybercrime.
