A review of public appeals and the inspection of the service activities and infrastructure of internal affairs bodies was held in Samarkand region

A working group led by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel Diyorbek Sattarov, reviewed the service activities of internal affairs bodies in Samarkand region. The review focused on improving the effectiveness of their work, strengthening service discipline, further enhancing the public appeal system, and addressing existing shortcomings.
As part of the "Month of Compliance and Spiritual Culture," a mobile reception was held in Samarkand to consider citizens' appeals and identify practical solutions to their concerns.
More than 30 appeals were reviewed during the reception, most resolved positively on the spot. Legal advice and explanations were provided on 14 appeals. Another 8 appeals requiring additional review were referred for further action. Responsible officials were given relevant instructions to ensure their lawful and timely resolution. During the mobile reception, identity cards were also ceremonially presented to young people receiving them for the first time.
As part of the visit, a training and practical seminar was held in Samarkand. During the training, participants received recommendations and explanations on repairing service buildings in compliance with established uniform standards and requirements, ensuring high-quality exterior and interior finishes, improving surrounding areas, and performing construction and repair work consistent with current regulations.
The working group also inspected the conditions created for employees of the Taylok District Internal Affairs Department, as well as construction, repair, and landscaping works at its administrative building. Preventive measures aimed at eliminating crime and offenses in the region were also analyzed. Priority tasks were identified to further improve targeted work with the population, increase the effectiveness of preventive inspectors, widely introduce digital technologies, and strengthen service discipline.
The working group reviewed the preventive inspector's service building in Pastdargam district, measures taken to ensure public safety, and the conditions in the district's administrative building.
Based on the results of the studies, responsible officials were given specific instructions to address the identified shortcomings, further improve service efficiency, and ensure the timely and lawful resolution of citizens' appeals.
