The Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs hosted a meeting with Kim Jae Hwan, Representative of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea for Law Enforcement and Consular Affairs.
Prior to their meeting, the Korean guest was introduced to the activities of the educational institution by the academy's leadership. He was briefed on the educational process, the modern conditions created at the academy, advanced approaches introduced to practice, and the institution's international cooperation.
Following that, a bilateral meeting was held to discuss the current status and prospects of bilateral relations as well as issues related to the further development of multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.
Kim Jae Hwan noted that relations between Korea and Uzbekistan have been developing consistently in recent years based on mutual respect, trust, and strategic partnership. He particularly emphasized that cooperation in education had reached a new level.
The meeting was held in an open and constructive environment. The parties exchanged views on expanding the exchange of experience in law enforcement, strengthening the capacity of personnel to address modern threats and challenges, organizing training courses for professors, teachers, and students in relevant areas, and introducing advanced international experience into practice.
Kim Jae Hwan expressed his readiness to support the proposals put forward by the academy's representatives and contribute to promising projects aimed at improving education quality.
In addition, the embassy representative also visited the training rooms where training sessions will be conducted by Korean experts in conjunction with bilateral cooperation.
