The internal affairs bodies continue to strengthen open dialogue with the public by regularly organizing mobile receptions to hear citizens' concerns, identify practical solutions to pressing issues, and improve engagement between state institutions and the population.
These receptions provide an effective platform for carefully reviewing citizens' appeals, protecting their legal interests, and ensuring existing issues are resolved timely.
On August 2, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Lieutenant General Aziz Tashpulatov, hosted another reception. Deputy ministers, heads of sectoral services, and responsible officials attended the event. A particular focus was placed on reviewing appeals submitted by individuals and legal entities, determining practical measures for each case, and ensuring that every issue was resolved appropriately.
The reception was organized in a convenient format in order to ensure a broad participation from the general public. Residents of the city of Tashkent and the surrounding regions had the opportunity to meet directly with the Ministry's leadership, while residents of Karakalpakstan and other regions could join the reception via videoconference and address their concerns.
A total of 526 appeals were registered during the reception. Of these, 320 appeals, or 61 percent, were resolved on the spot. The remaining 206 appeals, which required additional review, were referred to the relevant sectoral services and placed under supervision to ensure their timely implementation.
In addition, 440 appeals were received during mobile receptions organized by the heads of the internal affairs bodies of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Tashkent city, and the regions. Of these, 211 appeals, or 48 percent, were resolved on the spot, while 229 appeals requiring further examination and legal assessment were referred for additional review.
As a tool to strengthen the dialog between citizens and state institutions, mobile receptions continue to play an important role in providing timely responses to public concerns, as well as enhancing the openness and effectiveness of internal affairs organizations. All regions of the country will continue to hold such meetings on a regular basis.
