The twenty-fifth session of the Namangan Regional Council of People's Deputies was held at the "Ma'rifat Maskani" in Namangan city.
The session was attended by the Chairperson and members of the Regional Council, the Regional Governor, heads of law enforcement agencies, representatives of relevant organizations and institutions, and members of the media.
The agenda included issues relating to the socio-economic development of the region, the maintenance of law and order, the implementation of the local budget, as well as 18 other important items. Responsible officials presented reports, and relevant decisions were adopted on the issues.
During the session, the Head of the Namangan Regional Internal Affairs Department presented a report on the work carried out during the first half of 2026 to prevent crime and offences at an early stage, ensure the implementation of the President's decisions in this area, and identify the priority tasks for the next six months.
In addition, the Head of the Regional Road Safety Department provided participants with information regarding measures taken to enhance road safety, prevent traffic accidents, and further develop road infrastructure throughout the region.
