The Ministry of Internal Affairs continues to strengthen its system for working with citizens' appeals by maintaining an open and effective dialogue with the public. The Investigation Department under the Ministry regularly organizes personal and mobile receptions in support of these efforts.
On July 30, Deputy Minister Ramazon Ashropov conducted another personal reception to hear citizens' concerns and identify practical solutions to their issues.
A total of 210 citizens attended the reception, and 194 appeals were reviewed. Of these, 124 concerned investigative and inquiry activities, 28 related to pardons and the legal status of convicted persons, 18 involved pre-investigation inquiries, 6 concerned the actions of employees, and 18 addressed other matters related to the activities of internal affairs bodies.
Additionally, online receptions were organized for residents of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and its regions. A number of appeals were received from citizens in the regions of Andijan, Fergana, Samarkand, and Kashkadarya.
During the reception, the Deputy Minister, together with responsible officials and staff, held direct discussions with citizens regarding their concerns. Appeals related to pre-investigation procedures, inquiry and preliminary investigation processes, crime prevention, and other areas were considered, and responsible officials were given clear instructions to ensure their prompt and lawful resolution.
Among the appeals reviewed, 34 (17.5%) were resolved on the spot, while 21 (10%) were resolved through legal explanations. The remaining 139 appeals (71.5 percent), which required further review, were forwarded for further processing and placed under supervision.
Such personal receptions and open dialogue with citizens are regularly organized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
