The leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reviewed public appeals, service activities, and infrastructure in the Republic of Karakalpakstan

The Deputy Ministers of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Colonel Diyorbek Sattarov and Colonel Rustam Mirzaev, held a comprehensive review of the service activities of the internal affairs bodies in the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
The visit included a mobile reception at the Nukus Youth Center to study citizens' appeals and identify practical solutions.
During the reception, 47 appeals covering 10 different areas were reviewed. 23 of these cases were resolved on the spot, and 15 applicants received legal advice and explanations. The remaining 9 appeals, which required additional review, were forwarded for further processing, and responsible officials were given the relevant instructions. As part of the event, identity cards were presented to 10 young people who had received their first identification documents, as well as to a group of individuals who had been granted citizenship of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
A review of construction work at the new Nukus branch of the Advanced Training Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as well as the development of modern facilities for training and professional development of internal affairs personnel was also conducted by the Deputy Ministers.
They visited the Administrative Operations Center of the Road Safety Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Karakalpakstan to become familiar with employee service activities, operational processes, and working conditions.
Their visit to the Takhiatash District Internal Affairs Department included discussions on improving criminogenic conditions, preventing crime, and strengthening preventive efforts. Priority tasks include improving targeted engagement with the public, enhancing the effectiveness of preventive inspectors, expanding the use of modern information technologies, and strengthening the discipline of the service and the professional capacity of personnel.
Furthermore, members of the working group visited the Jayhun mahalla citizens' assembly, inspected the residence of the preventive inspector, and reviewed the measures being taken to ensure public safety in the mahalla.
Following the visit, responsible officials were given relevant instructions and recommendations in order to resolve the identified shortcomings, improve service efficiency, and ensure the timely and lawful resolution of citizen appeals.
