At the ceremony, the Minister of Internal Affairs highlighted that sports are developing in our country as an important factor in strengthening the health of the population, raising a healthy generation, the healthy environment in the mahallas with the efforts of the internal affairs officers, the number of sports fans is growing as regional competitions, such as the "Five Initiatives Olympiad", have gained a lot of popularity among professional athletes.

Furthermore, it was recognized that at the Olympic Games this year, our athletes showcased the power of the New Uzbekistan youth and that the presence of employees from the Ministry of Internal Affairs among the athletes was a great motivation for the youth.

For their serious commitment to their duties, extensive promotion of a healthy lifestyle in internal affairs bodies, their contribution to the popularization of sports among employees, and their active participation at the XXXIII Summer Olympic Games in Paris, France, several employees were awarded, including:

gold medalists Lieutenant Abdumalik Khalokov and Lieutenant Lazizbek Mullajonov with the special title of "Senior Lieutenant" and a souvenir for their efforts;

bronze medalist commander Muzaffarbek Turaboev with the special title of "Lieutenant" and a souvenir;

participants of the Olympic Games, World Championship bronze medalist Lieutenant Islamjon Bahramov, Summer Asian Games gold medalist Junior Sergeant Ekaterina Voronina, two-time Asian Championship bronze medalist Junior Sergeant Aktenge Keunimjaeva, two-time Summer Olympic Games participant, three-time Asian Championship winner soldier Sharofiddin Boltaboev, Asian and World Championship bronze medalist Murodjon Yuldoshev and World Championship gold medalist Aram Vardanyan with "Honorary label" and a souvenir from the Minister of Internal Affairs;

Boxing master of sports and world champion Major Israil Madrimov was awarded a badge "For excellent services" and a souvenir.

During the solemn ceremony, award-winning employees and Olympic champions expressed appreciation for the conditions created in our country for employees to participate in sports, as well as the system of internal affairs bodies, attention paid to them, targeted reforms in youth policy and sports.
