A citizen wanted internationally on charges of committing large-scale fraud has been extradited from Poland to Uzbekistan through Interpol channels.
At Warsaw Airport, the competent authorities of Poland handed over the wanted individual to representatives of the National Central Bureau of Interpol of Uzbekistan.
A bilateral cooperation agreement between the National Central Bureaus of Interpol in Tashkent and Warsaw resulted in the extradition of the suspect, which included information exchange and joint search efforts, with the assistance of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Poland.
The suspect was detained in Poland following the effective use of Interpol channels to locate his cross-border movements.
Following a positive decision by the competent authorities of Poland, the wanted individual was transferred to the law enforcement agencies of Uzbekistan for legal prosecution and further action in accordance with the law.
