A delegation from the MIA learned about Japan's advanced experience in public services

From July 13 to 17, a delegation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan paid a working visit to Japan to learn about advanced practices in public service delivery.
An official delegation from the Department of Migration and Personalization of the Ministry of Internal Affairs recently visited Japan in order to learn more about the country's system for registering citizens and issuing identification cards.
The delegation was led by Colonel U. Mirzakambarov, First Deputy Head of the Department of Migration and Personalization. The delegation also toured the My Number Card Issuance Center and the Shinjuku Passport Center, where they were introduced to the organizational structure, operational procedures, and modern service management systems used by public agencies.
During the visit, the Japanese side shared practical experience in several key areas, including:
- the organization of public services related to identity document registration and issuance;
- the provision of electronic public services, including remote document registration and the use of dedicated mobile applications;
- the production process and security features of the My Number Card identification system.
A working visit between Uzbekistan and Japan marked another important step in strengthening bilateral cooperation.
The knowledge and experience that is gained during this visit will be used to further develop Uzbekistan's public service system, introduce more efficient management techniques, and improve the quality of public services for the citizens of Uzbekistan.
