The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Karakalpakstan reviews the performance of the first half of the year

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Karakalpakstan conducted an expanded review meeting to assess the progress made towards preventing crime, stabilizing the criminogenic environment, and ensuring public safety during the first half of the year.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Major General Bakhodir Mirzarakhimov, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Colonel Bakhtiyar Torebekov, as well as heads of sectoral services, leaders of city and district internal affairs bodies, and other responsible officials.
A comprehensive review of the activities conducted over the past six months was conducted during the meeting, which included crime prevention, the organization of preventive measures, maintaining public order, handling citizen appeals, locating wanted persons, preventing offenses among young women and youth, and strengthening mahalla prevention efforts.
Aside from the positive results that were achieved, the meeting also critically examined a number of shortcomings.
The responsible officials have been assigned specific tasks and given clear instructions to address existing issues, strengthen targeted prevention measures, reinforce service discipline, and maintain continuous monitoring of the criminogenic situation in each mahalla.
Following the meeting, priority tasks were identified to further improve public safety, prevent crime in its early stages, reduce the causes and conditions that contribute to offenses, and enhance the overall effectiveness of the internal affairs bodies.
