A delegation from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan visited the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi.
During the visit, the delegation toured the university's modern educational and research facilities, including advanced laboratories and innovative developments in the field of information and communication technologies. Afterward, the leadership of the university, representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and responsible officials attended a meeting.
The meeting focused on expanding the use of digital technologies in the internal affairs system, strengthening information security, developing scientific and practical cooperation, training highly qualified specialists with modern knowledge and skills, and implementing mutually beneficial projects.
Following the meeting, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi signed a memorandum of cooperation.
As part of the memorandum, the parties agreed to cooperate in the fields of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, Big Data, telecommunications, and other advanced information technologies. The agreement also provides for the implementation of joint scientific and practical projects, professional development opportunities for Ministry employees, enhanced practical training for students and master's degree candidates, and support for startup projects and innovative initiatives.
The memorandum is expected to promote the digital transformation of the internal affairs system, expand the use of advanced information technologies in service activities, strengthen cooperation between science and practice, and facilitate the training of highly qualified information technology specialists.
