Bektemir District Administration held a meeting with the participation of the district governor and the leaders of the Department for Combating Cybercrime.
During the meeting, representatives discussed measures to prevent cybercrime, online fraud, and bank card theft. They noted the growing number and increasing sophistication of such offenses.
The parties also identified key areas of cooperation aimed at protecting district residents from digital threats.
Following the meeting, a comprehensive cybersecurity training seminar was organized at the district administration. This seminar was attended by heads and responsible employees of local enterprises, organizations, and government institutions.
This seminar provided participants with an overview of the latest techniques used by cybercriminals, guidance on recognizing and avoiding fake phishing links, and practical recommendations on protecting the personal data of organizations and citizens.
